"And that should be the last of it!," Tad's mom said as she whipped her forehead.
She smiled and admired the work she and her son had completed.
"I'm going to go get dinner ready," Tad's mom said, "You have anything imparticlar you want to do right now?"
"No," Tad said, "I've got a few things left to unpack in my room. I'm just going to turn on the tv in my room and unpack."
He walked up the stairs and down the hallway until he reached his room.
It was much larger than his old one, but something about it felt strange and almost alien.
In fact, everything so far felt strange!
He had spent his entire life running from hunters that wanted to take him and his mom to a government lab where they could be experimented on, or at least, that's what he'd been told.
Now, he was in a safe place with people just like him.
He didn't have to worry about feeling different, like he used to.
Then again, the adrenaline rush that he felt while he and his mom almost got caught.
Tad sighed.
"When did life get so boring?," he said, unpacking his bed sheets and blankets.
The large comforter was had small black hairs from the times he slept as a werewolf.
It felt like a million years since he last transformed.
He looked around his room, making sure no one was looking.
"It's been so long since I've done this," Tad said quietly to himself.
He felt a tingling sensation in his feet and legs as the bones began to reshape into paws and midnight black fur grew across his legs.
His arms felt the same as his legs did as the black fur spread there.
His fingernailsand toenails sharpened, and the black fur covered his chest as a black furry tail grew out.
Tad's face reshape do into a muzzle as the fur spread around his face.
To wrap it all up, his ears became pointed and his teeth sharpened.
Tad admired himself, feeling the black fur he hadn't felt for such a long time.
He reached down to another box to resume unpacking.
