"I think we should go to the Unknown Realm," I said.
"Good choice," Runt said. "Probably the most interesting Realm for us as we have no idea what it'll be like with all of us there."
"Well then let's go," Patrick and Heem said.
We all stepped on the Realm Gate and Heem entered the password and set it to send us to the Unknown Realm. A bright light engulfed us and then Limbo was gone. In it's place was a black expanse of nothingness.
"What is this," Regi said.
"Must be how the Unknown Realm starts," Runt replied. "I bet once we step off the gat it will begin to change."
To test this Runt stepped off the Gate. Where his feet touched the ground a rocky floor began to form and expand. Patrick went to join him and where his feet touched the floor a flower covered floor began to expand. Where the rock and flowers met both stopped expanding in that direction. Heem and Regi went out and a sandy floor started to appear. Like the rock and flowers it stopped expanding when it met the other terrains. At a certain point of expansion the sand floor formed a ring around the gate and a stone wall sprouted from it with gates located at each of the cardinal directions.The rocky terrain formed a ring around the gate and the flowery terrain formed a ring between the wall and the gate. Hudson stepped off the Gate and beyond the wall several grass covered hills appeared. Due to Patrick some forests appeared in this area and thanks to Runt some cliffs appeared too with mountains appearing in the north. Due to Heem and Regi's influence and a deserted appeared to the east. Then I stepped off the gate and a pave path appeared connecting the gates in the wall to the Realm Gate, then another paved expanded from the southern gate weaving it's way between the hills before stopping where upon a group of 6 houses suddenly appeared arranged in a semi-circle. Near the western gate a small pool appeared with a stream working it's way towards the wall where a grate appeared allowing the stream to continue grow until it met a river that started to appear and flow south-eastwards until it curved around the houses and formed a lake on their eastern side. Meanwhile the other end of the river stared to flow north-westwards until it stopped and an ocean appeared lined by cliffs and with a beach on the edge closest the Realm Gate. Then the pave paths expand until they met with the beach, the mountains and the desert. Then the world stopped changing.
"That was incredible," Ferus said in awe.
"Indeed," Patrick replied. "I wonder how much we were each responsible for."
"Well I think it's obvious," Runt replied. "Hell is very rocky, so to accommodate for me the cliffs and mountain appeared. And it looks like one of the houses over their is made entirely out of brimstone, which is what our homes were made of. Heem and Regi come from Limbo which as you remember was pretty much a desert, so the sandy areas are for them. And it looks like the two houses at the edge of the semi-circle are made from wood, just like your camp was. Ferus is a minotaur and they live in grassy, hilly terrain, so the hills are for him. And they live in tents so the tent-like house is his. And Satyr live in forests with loads of flowers, so Patrick is responsible for that. And his house is the one that looks like it was grown from a tree using magic, which is how Satyrs make their homes. And finally Hudson lived in a coastal city and is named for one of the rivers that flow through it, so the water and roads are for him. And naturally that building which looks like a bungalow version of Hudson's apartment is his home."
"How can you be so sure about that Runt," Regi asked.
"Because I spent years planning my escape from Hell and learning everything I could about the upper realms," Runt replied. "So I know more about the other realms and their inhabitants than anyone here."
"Explains how you knew the anatomy of the species you turned me into so well," I said.
"Speaking of which it's about time I changed you again isn't it," Runt asked.
"That would be nice," I said. "Can I have some time to think about what I want to be?"
"Sure," he replies "We'll head to the houses, take a look at each of ours, and then meet back outside to be changed. And if anyone else wants to be changed, I'd be happy to oblige."
So we made our way to the houses. When we got there we saw signs in front of each house that told us who got each one. Runt was right about the brimstone house being his. It actually looked like a small castle designed specifically for his height. Ferus' tent was the largest house due to it needing to accommodate his 9' tall frame. Heem and Regi's house were nearly identical, except for Regi's being smaller. However both were designed to allow access to the room, likely so that they can keep lookout. Patrick house did indeed look like it was grown from a tree and have a ring of flowers around it. As for my house, from the outside it looked like a human bungalow but inside it was arranged like my old apartment. It had the same layout and furniture. The wardrobe even had replica's of all my old clothes, but modified to suit my new body. It was incredible and I wondered if Runt changed me would the clothes change too. I couldn't wait to find out.
Back outside everyone was waiting for me. Runt greeted us and asked if we wanted to be changed. Aside from Regi who was happy as he was, everyone was unsure about whether or not they wanted to change and if they did what they'd like to be. Runt decide to give me 5 minutes to decide while everyone else would have 5 minute plus the length of time it took him to change the previous person. The order would be Me, Ferus, Patrick, Heem, and finally Regi if he changed his mind. When the five minute are up I decide to...
