"No! I'll never give you them! They're my best friend who got tfed!" Jade screams as she scrambles up and runs off. She only gets a few feet before you hear a metallic clanging sound and Jade falls face forward onto the asphalt. You feel your laces being untied, and you are taken off by the mugger. The mugger then runs down the trail, runs for a few minutes, the turns left onto an obscure side trail. When he reaches the end of the side trail, you see a clearing with a hut made of scrap metal in the middle. A girl of the same age of the mugger runs up to him, and says, "Daniel! You're back! What are those? They're beautiful!" She gasps pointing at you. "They're for you, sis! I know how you always wanted a decent pair of running shoes!" The girl takes you from the mugger and puts you on. "I love them! I am going to keep these on forever!" She runs back to the hut, and inside you see a small stove with a pot on it. Time passes, and eventually, the girl lies down on the floor of the hut and falls asleep. You, however, cannot sleep because you are an inanimate object. Sometime around midnight, the mugger sneaks into the hut with a spray bottle, silently sprays the liquid on you, then whispers, "I can't have you changing back, my sister loves you as shoes, so now you're transformation is permanent. He then leaves the hut. You are shocked at what you just heard. As it dawns upon you that you will never again be nothing but a pair of shoes, you silently cry as the sun comes up.
