Soon the doctor came in, a brunette woman in her early/mid thirties. She introduced herself as Joanne Smithson.
"So seems to be the problem today?" she asked. "I see you say you're short of breath?"
"Gosh," Dana thought to herself, "this doctor looks young." She didn't notice the tingle at her ring finger.
"Yes doctor," 36-year-old Matt said, "I keep having these coughing fits."
"I see," Joanne said. "Are you a smoker?"
"Yes," Matt replied. "I've smoked for 20 years, since I was 16."
"Eight years," interjected Dana. "You're 24."
"I'm 36! Why do you keep saying I'm 24?" Matt asked. He was very perplexed by the 26-year-old Dana.
"Matt, I know how old you are," Dana said. OR did she? He was looking a bit older in the face, and his body appeared to be heavier. She was sure he was muscular at the beach, but now he seemed....not fat, but he seemed to have a bit of a paunch. And as for his hair, he had a shaved head at the beach, she was sure... but now... his hair was longer but...balding?
"OK," 33-year-old Joanne said, confused by these two. "Let's run some tests... come with me please."
"Sure thing *cough* doc" 38-year-old Matt replied.

Meanwhile, nurse Laurie, now 30, tugged at her scrubs. They were uncomfortable tight in the ass and tummy, and if she looked in the mirror, she'd have seen her face looked fuller as well.
"Dammit," she muttered in a deeper voice. "I've gotta find time to get back to the gym."
