"Hey, Rod, what are you doing here?" Chad asked as he opened the door.
"That's not me!" screamed the jockstrap in Rod's mind, "Tell him that he invited you over, see what he says?"
Rod had started to take a step back, the look of confusion on his face was evident, but he heard the jockstrap, and he decided to try that gambit.
"But Chad, you told me to come over today. You said you wanted to show me some new video game you got," Rod lied.
Chad look flummoxed. Then he recovered, "Oh, yeah, sure. Sorry, I forgot. Come on in, Rod."
This Chad was visibly nervous. He must be trying to figure out what videogame the real Chad had in mind. Probably the game on top of the console? He led the way to the family room. Touchdown, Chad's dog, glared at them. It knew something was wrong, but couldn't quite figure it out.
"Tell him, you thought I-er, he said it was a game on his PC," the jockstrap encouraged.
Chad picked up two games and hesitated.
"So SuperMario or Marvel's Avengers?" he asked holding up the two cartridges that were next to the console.
"You told me, the game was on your PC?" Rod asked.
Chad's eyes widened. "My PC, right? Sorry banged my head earlier today at pract- I mean, before practice. Maybe I should have a doctor check it out?"
"Well, I can take you to the team doctor, right now?" Rod said with real concern.
"Uh, no. I'm sure I'm okay. Let's go to my room, and get online," the false Chad said as he led the way upstairs. Under his breath, he added, "if I can figure out the password?"
