Jake placed the medallion around his neck for safekeeping and headed into the gym with the other students. He was standing around, waiting for class to begin when he felt a thump on the back of his head.
"What's up, loser?" said a voice behind him.
He turned around, and was confronted with a bare of moderately sized breasts at eye level. He looked up and saw who it was - Gina, the star of the girl's basketball team. Or Gina the Giant as she was known. Jake was a little small for his age, but Gina would have looked tall to many boys his age. She was well over 6 feet tall, and would frequently brag that she was still growing. For some reason she enjoyed pestering Jake, taunting or teasing him. The teachers ignored it, either because she was an athletic star or because they found it hard to believe a girl could pick on a boy. Regardless it did not matter. Jake sighed and knew he was in for a long P.E. class.
"Hey, what's that? It looks cool, " said Gina, as she reached for the medallion.
"It's mine!" said Jake, as he tugged on the medallion, trying to pry it out of her hands. They both felt a shock as their bare skin and the medallion made contact with each other at the same time.
"I just wanted to look at it, " grumbled Gina, as she released the medallion, and rubbed her sore hand. "I wasn't going to steal it, you little twerp."
"Gina, stop wasting time and get over here, " said Coach Miller, the coach of the girls basketball team. The team was practicing on the other side of the gym, and she was eager to get started. "You can fool around with your little boyfriend after practice." The other girls on the team giggled.
Gina looked down and glared at Jake. "As if, " she muttered, then punched Jake hard in the arm. She jogged over to join her teammates.
Jake rubbed his sore arm, and began to walk towards the rest of the students in his own class, P.E. His hand still tingled from the shock he had received. In fact, his whole body tingled a little. But the gym teacher began to yell instruction, and Jake had no choice but to ignore his pains and begin his exercises. He had no idea that his pain was just beginning, and soon would be much worse when his body completed its transformation.
