Martha Anderson finished her lunch, took care of her trash, and then stood in one corner of the Moon Lake Elementary School as she watched the rest of her third grade class finish their meals while awaiting the bell that would signal the end of their lunch break.
She was contemplating her lessons plans for that afternoon, and her free time over the coming weekend, when one of her fellow teachers approached.
"Hello Liz. How's it going?" Martha asked her friend.
"Fine. Although I do have a favor to ask," replied Elizabeth Martin, another third grade instructor, as she lowered her voice to prevent any young were ears from overhearing them speak.
"What is it?" asked Martha, eyeing the woman carefully.
"I've got an itch that seriously needs scratching. Can you come to my place after school and...?"
It was common knowledge among the female staff that if you were in need and discreet, the bi-werevixen would love to personally take care of almost any sexual need you had. However...
"I would love to, but I have a parent/teacher conference scheduled after school today," replied Martha, disappointed that she would be unable to play with the weretigress, fondly remembering what an animal her friend was in bed.
"Everything all right?" asked Liz in return.
"Academically, Jeremy Watson is a brilliant straight A student. In truth, I'd be surprised if he doesn't skip the fourth grade and go directly to the fifth grade next year," said Martha, while looking at the brown haired child sitting by himself reading a book while the other children sat and chatted with each other while they ate. "But he's more socially inept than my son Eric was at this age, so I'm hoping that a little preventative action on his parents' part..."
"You don't know?" asked Liz, looking at her friend.
"Know what?" asked Martha in return.
"That's right. It happened in May before school ended and you moved here. Jeremy lost his father in a car accident." Martha didn't know what to say, so Liz added, "Don't look sad. We may be weres, but that doesn't mean we're invulnerable."
"Thanks for the heads up. I'll tread carefully with his mother this afternoon, but that explains why today was the first chance she could meet with me. Rain check on the... other matter?" asked Martha, while licking her lips and staring seductively at the other teacher.
"You better believe it," replied Liz, before issuing a slight growl of pleasure yet to be.
MEANWHILE...
Nate Anderson was in class when he felt his cellphone vibrate. Curious as to who could be trying to contact him at this time of day, he had to wait until class was over to fish it out of his pocket and saw he had a text.

Nate recognized the number and instantly knew the message was from the seductive werepanthress he met earlier that week. Heady thoughts of wild sex all night long and an actual chance to get to know the woman better, let alone discover her name, swam through his brain as Nate texted her back.
FRIDAY NIGHT 4 SURE. HAVE 2 ASK ABOUT WEEKEND.
The werepanthress' reply left him a bit puzzled.

The werepanthress warned him that if he ever mentioned her or what they were doing together to ANY one, she would instantly break off the relationship and Nate would never see her again.
While not as computer savvy as his younger brother Eric, a discreet check of a few Moon Lake websites revealed that while technically Nate was legally a minor in the eyes of HUMAN law; with both him and the adult panthress being weres, they were not engaging in any illegal sex or doing anything else prohibited by Moon Lake's personal laws.
Nate simply typed I KNOW and waited for her reply.
Sometimes Nate wondered if the werepanthress was actually a married woman, or maybe in one of those "open" marriages where the spouses gave each other permission to play. He knew that being bi-, his mother had plenty of female partners, and at times even included his father in on her fun. The one thing Nate would give his mother credit for is that she never cheated on dad with another man.
Then he got a reply.
K. 7 PM. USUAL SPOT. I'LL BRING DINNER. U KNOW WHAT'S 4 DESSERT MY WEREWOLF.
Then, for the first time since Nate started seeing the werepanthress, there was actually a couple of emoticons at the end of her last sentence. A humongous smiley face, followed by a heart.
Nate quickly texted LOOKING 4WARD 2 IT! and that was the end of their conversation until they saw each other that night.
Whatever the truth was, as long as she wanted him and remained on her were-birth control pill, Nate would continue to see and have sex with the werepanthress as long as he could.

Unlike the Martha Anderson of "Earth-1", this Martha fully embraced her bi-side while still in college, and only took a sabbatical between the latter months of her first pregnancy before giving birth to Nate and the time her younger son Eric was old enough to start school. Since then, she got her credentials re-certified and was still an active teacher when the Andersons moved to Moon Lake over the summer because her husband William accepted a higher paying position at Moon Lake College. A quick exam to prove herself worthy of teaching in the Washington state of "Earth-2" and a seminar to prepare her for what to possibly expect as a teacher in Moon Lake, and she was good to resume her elementary school career.
