Mary could barely contain her fear as her large back pressed against the front door. She could see drool dripping out of her friend's mouth, now a large dragon with the insatiable hunger of a pig. Jess' body was still growing, and she struggled to turn her large body to face Mary in the small kitchen. The floor groaned under her increasing weight, and dipped and shook as she stepped forward towards Mary.
Mary had hoped to make a try for the vials, so she could find some type of antidote for herself and her friend. But her large obese and unwieldy anthro-morphic pig body made quick agile movements impossible, and her friend now blocked her path to the box of vials in the living room. She was about to give up and take her chances running in the hallway, when the weight of Jess' large body as it moved caused the box of vials to fall off of the coffee table. The box popped open, sending vials rolling in all directions. A few rolled to Mary's rear hooves, and she quickly bent down to scoop them up.
"What have you got there, little pig? Something to make you even more delicious, " said Jess, as she licked her lips with her long forked tongue. A pool of drool was gathering beneath her jaw.
Mary didn't bother to respond, and just turned and ran through the front door. The dragon roared in frustration at the loss if its prey. Mary waddled down the hallway. Her progress was slow, and she was already winded and tired. Jess was too large to fit through the door, but she was not about to give up on her tasty meal. She began to ram her body against the wall, sending plaster showering down from the ceiling. Mary turned and saw cracks on the wall, and she knew the dragon would soon be out of its confinement. She could not outrun it. She had to find someplace to hide.
At the end of the hallway of her apartment was a small janitor's closet. The closet was not surrounded by the aesthetically pleasing but fragile plaster and wood of the other apartments. Instead, it was made of thick concrete, connected to the foundation of the apartment building. It would not stop Jess if she really wanted to get in, but it would a least be a safe place to hide and think for a while.
Mary closed the door behind her, just as Jess broke through the wall. She could hear the screams of the other tenants, as they opened the doors to their apartments and saw the beast. She prayed that they were quicker than her, and safely escaped the hunger of the ravenous beast.
Mary's heart still raced, and her breath was still ragged. But she felt a little less scared, now that she felt safe. She looked at the vials she had managed to grab, and hoped it was something good. She had three vials, labeled "Human", Growth", and "Ant" respectively.
Great. I can become human again, but then she will eat me as soon as I open the door, she thought. Being an ant won't help much either. The growth might work. If I were bigger, I might be able to take down the dragon. But I don't think a giant pig or even a giant human would last long against a monster like that. But, then again, maybe if I aim it just right, I can toss the "Human" vial into her mouth, and get her back to normal. But I don't want to lose the "Human" vial in her stomach - I don't want to be a pig-woman for the rest of my life.
Mary heard heavy breathing, just outside the door.
"Little pig, little pig, open your door, or I'll blow it in, " said Jess.
Shit, thought Mary. Whatever I do, I better do it soon. Even concrete won't keep her out of here for long.
