The two brothers ran out into the night and started racing towards the forest, where they usually played. This time, however, Nate went on all fours and easily bested his brother, running around in circles and even stopping to wait for him.
"Hey, this is not... very fare!" The younger brother complained.
Nate looked sincerely sorry as he stood up on his hind paws, but only to be tackled by Kris who caught up. The younger brother;s intention was to drag the older one back in the grass, but Nate effortlessly took the boy's weight and lifted him into the air. Even as a wolf he looked happy to be able to play with his brother again like this. Kris laughed as well, utterly impressed by his brother's strength. Nate gently put Kris down and grinned with his white sharp fangs. He stoood proudly with his powerful hard muscles easily visible even through fluffy fur. He was clearly still just a young werewolf, but already much like an adult human in terms of size and physique.
The brothers played around a bit more, but it appeared Nate could easily beat Kris in everything, unless he gave in on purpose. It was already wee hours in the morning when they both dropped to the grass, happy and laughing. Kris always wanted to have a dog and now he had the best dog, friend and brother he could ask for. As they lay still, Kris suddenly heard a strange noise.
