You remember the pill the strange man gave you when you entered the store. You feel around your blue denim skirt, but you can't find it. It must have fallen out when your clothes changed!
You look to your friends, Ryan and Jake for help. They are still astonished, and gawking at your new body. "Please guys, can you help me? I don't have any money, " you plead.
Ryan, your close friend, shakes out of his stupor. "Okay, okay. So how much are the jellybeans?" Ryan asks the employee.
"Well, they are sold by weight. Each ounce is one hundred dollars, " says the employee calmly.
"One hundred dollars! I don't have that much money, " says Ryan. "Can't I just buy just one to get Sam back to normal?"
The employee shakes his head. "Sorry, minimum purchase is one ounce."
"Sorry, Sam, " says Ralph. "I guess I can't help you. Maybe we can go home and get some money from our parents."
"Forget it, " you say. "I don't want anyone to see me like this. Just give me the pill you got when we came in so I can change back to normal."
"Wait, wait, " says Jake. "This might be a little fun. I have the money. Let's see what these things can do."
Jake turns to the employee. "I'll take one ounce, sir. But I want some kind of explanation for what each of these can do."
The employee takes Jake's money and nods.
"Of course, sir," says the employee, as he hands Jake a small glossy notecard. "Now take your pick."
Jake studies the card intently, then selects a handful of jelly beans.
"C'mon, guys, " says Jake. "Let's go home and try these out."
"No way, " you say. "Just give me one that will turn me back to normal now. I can't be seen like this."
"No one will recognize you, Sam, " says Jake. "Besides, you owe me. I spent a lot on these, and I plan to get my money's worth out of them. The least you can do to thank me is to let me have a little fun."
You sigh. "Okay. But as soon as you are done, you have to change me back to normal. Promise?" you say.
"I promise, " says Jake with a smile. "Now let's get out of here. We are wasting time."
Sam, Jake, and Ralph quickly leave the store, and head home.
