The two ran as far and fast as Mary could. The thrill of running as a wolf filled her with an intangible excitement. She felt strong and fast, wild and free. Her senses were overloaded, and even having the small human child on her back, she didn't feel burdened, quite the opposite. For Mary, it was like all her former weaknesses had been washed away, and it was hard to concentrate on wanting to turn back. The temptation to stay this way, to stay a wolf, was tremendous.
"No I have to focus." She thought to herself as the farm came into view. "I have to go back. "
When they arrived just outside the farm's boundary, Mary stopped. Amy slipped down with the box of vials and the wolf nudged her. She felt that strange twinge of desire to stay this way tempting her. Amy patted her head. "Ok, ok I'll give you the human vial..."
She took it out and Mary felt her heart sink. The vial was only half full. Amy noticed this as well. "Huh, it didnt fill all the way...but its better than nothing. I can give you the rest later."
