Oliver crawled on his feet and knuckles to the track. Walking as a monkey felt awkward before - he was compelled to crawl like a primate, but his human feet just would not cooperate. But now that his feet were the right shape, it felt even more comfortable than walking on two legs was as a human. He got to gym faster than he ever had before.
"We're gonna do some warm-up exercises first!" barked the gym teacher. "Jumping jacks will get those muscles active! One, two!" The class followed his orders as he counted out numbers. For most of the kids, their animal instincts weren't making the exercises any easier. Jumping jacks are strenuous for a human, and they are no less demanding for a half-human. Oliver went through the motions, getting the dull part over with so he could really test his skills. He got distracted, however, when the elephant boy, Patrick, yelped in pain and clutched his stomach.
The gym teacher and the other students rushed to his side. "Are you hurt? Do you need to go to the nurse?" Patrick just smiled and said, "It's nothing, guys. Just one of my usual... ugh... growth spurts! I just had to end up as an elephant, heh heh..." He just stood up and let the changes happen. His body started gaining more bulk, especially around his thighs and tree trunk-like legs, and more gray wrinkled skin covered his old white skin. And then it finally happened... there was a faint snap and his boxer shorts fell to the ground, ruined. Patrick was nude in front of everybody in class.
For a while, nobody knew what to say. Patrick's sizeable shaft and balls had broken free, now proudly dangling in plain sight. The gym teacher turned to the class and said, "Kids, get used to this sight. Our friend Patrick has, shall we say, graduated from the need for human clothing. He's now ready to leave his modesty behind and embrace his changes... aren't you, Patrick?"
Patrick looked down at the shredded shorts. "Heh, won't I get in trouble with the law if I'm nude in public?"
Hunter helpfully added, "My parents talked to me about it. Legally, us children are treated as animals now. Which means you won't have to worry about getting arrested."
"Thanks, dude... this should be fun."
The kids were instructed to run laps around the track. Oliver got down on all fours and leaped across the track with the greatest of ease, beating his previous track record. He kept an eye on Patrick, who was still on two legs but slouched over, due to being in the middle of his transition. Being naked didn't seem to slow him down one bit. Oliver wondered... how long would it be until he himself could no longer wear clothes?
After gym, the boys and girls took a shower to clean up. Oliver had to use a lot more shampoo than usual, due to being covered in hair, but managed to get clean enough. He took the time to say hi to Patrick in the meantime.
"Um... Oliver, right? Nice to meet you." Patrick replied.
"You seem pretty casual about losing your clothes in front of everyone in class. Are you really never wearing anything again?"
"Unless I change back to a human somehow, no."
"Isn't it embarassing that girls can see you like that?"
"Nope. In a few years, we'll all have shed our human clothes anyway. Animals like us have no need for them."
Oliver looked at his own naked body under the shower. "No, I guess not..."
After the shower, the kids dried themselves off and got dressed... with what was left of their outfits. Oliver did the same, slipping on his underwear, shorts, and T-shirt. But unlike before, the clothes started to feel... WRONG. They were itchy, constricting, and just plain uncomfortable. What was this feeling?
