Striding over to button Glorietta had mentioned earlier, Trevor tilted his head to the side a bit and closed his left eye so he could accurately put a hoof down on it. The back door clicked and then whirred open, revealing a dirt path to follow between the back of the farm house and a tall wooden fence.
Trevor poked his head out, unsure which way to go. To his left, where the doors for the farm birds had been, he found a chicken wire fence that cut them off from going to the right. Since the rest of the doors were for the larger animals, Trevor guessed that’s where he was supposed to go.
With a flick of his tail, Trevor stepped out of the transformation room and felt his hooves crunching down on the sand outside. For a second, he felt awkward at being outside in the nude, but quickly dismissed it from his mind and kept walking. He was a horse now, after all.
Taking in a deep breath through his nostrils as he made his way to the end of the aisle, scents of other animals, especially horses, grass, and hay filled his senses. Trevor was astonished by how powerful his new sense of smell was.
Once he reached the edge of the farmhouse, Trevor was directed to take a left and quickly found the end of the aisle along with a big white sign. He had to step back a bit to keep it from ending up in the blind spot just in front of his muzzle.
If he took a left, he’d end up in the main paddock. If he took a right, he could go to the barn to get some oats, the events arena, or the stables to find his stall.
