Kyle had convinced the girls to take him to the greenhouse. Becca and Sam got out of the room and after a while the door was opened and Cassie, Crystal and Jennifer were looking at him. First he was shocked and felt a bit humilliated, the three girls had a disgusted face and then started giggling.
"He says he likes it?" Becca said from the door.
"What?" Cassie said. Kyle stood up and faced them.
"I think you wanted to see me down and crying but jokes on you. I look pretty cool" as soon as he said this he heard a flash. Crystal had just taken a picture from him.
"You are creepy, not cool" she said with that sassy girl voice.
Kyle then said what he'd never had thougth saying.
"Yeah?! Well, with frog leaping on you, Crystal. The last thing you'd be looking for would be a Prince Charming!"
Crystal was eye bugged and then smiled. His confidence was actually a plus.
"So what else are you going to do until th end of the pijama party?" Cassie asked. Samantha rolled her eyes, obviously annoyed with the situation.
"Board games and et's take Kyle to the city's greenhouse. He wants to seem in the lake or something..."
"Thanks Sam, I gotta enjoy this body before the night ends!" he said. "Why did you do it anyways? How ?"
"That's none of your business.I'll transform you back tomorrow morning..." she said.
The rest of the night was somewhat pleasant. Kyle put on some swimming shorts that Sam got from her brother, the girls all got in the room he was playing Cluedo and talking about boys. Kyle kept talking to Sam trying to figure out more about what she had done, he only had a sip of the iceberg. As it seems Samantha was from a witches family and was able to preform some magic having chosen Kyle as the guinea pig to show off to her friends. The night continued, Kyle hid everytime someone entered the room. The girls were starting to giggle at his jokes and tongue tricks...all but Sam.
Then like promised Sam said she had to take one of the girls home and they took the chance to hop all in the family's van. It was the moment of truth for Kyle because he had to jump from the second floor to groud. He walked on the backyard's ceilling of a porch and then jumped to the ground. His webbed feet landed perfectly with no harm. Instead of walking he hopped like a frog to the frontyard and jumped inside the van's trunk. Sam drove them all to the greenhouse.
In the trunk Kyle found out a box with more green wet suits, he counted them and there was one for each girl in the car. They arrived at the greenhouse and he hopped off. It was a glassy building by the twon's river. Somehow the sight of those plants triggered an instinct in his guts. The door was broken and always opened, sometimes high schoolers would go there to get high or drink beers. Sam took the lead and opened the door, she checked the interior with her Flashlight app.
"Coast clear" she said. The girls got inside, Cassie was holding a keg of beers they were able to sneak out, followed by Kyle. He hopped trough the plants searching for the pond...a little lake of marble in the middle. In a three meters leap, Kyle dove into the pond and splashed th place.
"So stupid" Crystal giggled at him. Kyle winked at her, and she giggled once more. He couldn't believe that...his frog-man body gave him the chance and the cnfidence to winkle at some of the hottest girls in town. That really felt like his skin...talking about skin his was refreshed, feeling like new. Kyle swam for some moments while the girls were in the margins talking and opening up beer bottles.
"Do you want one?" Becca asked him. Kyle hesitated but ended up nodding positively.
He swam to the shore and took the beer from Becca's hand. Then...
