Daniel looked around with clarity. He had, truly, been restored to the way he was at the beginning of the game. The people in the room with him, though, were like warped reflections of the people he knew. This had begun as a game, but now ... all they seemed to care about was the pleasure the changed would provide. Even Alicia, who looked at him hungrily as he reached for the dice. That was lust in her - no, his eyes, not love.
He looked at the board. Seven spaces from winning. The most common number on a pair of dice. The odds were with him. He would cast the dice and set his friends free from this nightmare.
Four.
And Two. No! The die was still moving!
Three!
"YES!" Daniel screamed.
A card was glowing on top of the deck.
The changes seen can be reversed,
But only if you're not to curse
One of those who sits with you,
To remain in a form, theirs true.
"I'm going to restore everyone." Daniel said.
As he said this, everyone else immediately returned to normal, exactly the same as they were in the beginning.
Wait! There's more
I hope this game wasn't a bore
You have a wish
that you can dish
and make what ever you want, like fish!
"I think I want to save my wish for later," Daniel said, after a moments hesitation, "If that's allowed."
It is allowed
And I am proud
Of your remembrance to change the crowd
But just remember, you horde
To send that board
back to the store(d)
