**Last song title, I swears. Title taken from ICE NINE KILLS' 2014 album (also the title for chapter 110), "The Predator Becomes The Prey". Kinda rushed this chapter, so sorry if it's a little lacking
“I DON’T THINK SO!” Evan shouted, tackling Bower to the ground. He and Bower roll on the ground, clawing at each other, and snapping their teeth dangerously close.
None of Evan’s fellow seamen intervene, nor do the Moon Lake police. They know Evan wants to finish this himself. And it would appear he’s going to. He caught Bower off guard, and he’s got the advantage in size and strength.
But Bower’s running on pure rage and adrenaline. He won’t go down so easy. He manages to plant his feet on Evan’s chest, and flings him back.
“I’d say it’s nice to see you again Evan, but then, I’ve never cared for your face.” Bower snarled.
“Ditto. Why don’t you just come quietly. I really don’t feel like getting my hands dirty.” Evan said.
“Gonna have one of your lackeys do your work for you?” Bower pointed at the officers surrounding him.
“Just shut up and surrender you sick fuck.” Evan said.
“Only when Hell freezes over. You send my son to prison, I send your entire family to the morgue.”
“Come on Bower, admit defeat. There’s no where for you to run, and your ‘accomplices’ are out of the picture. You LOST.”
“I’ve only lost when I stop breathing. Until then, there’s still plenty I can do.” Bower said. He smiled at Evan as his finger released the trigger of the second bomb he threw during the chaos. It sends a car into the air, and Bower rushes Evan.
Again, the two fall to the ground wrestling. Evan removes his extra weapons, and uses the discarded vest to blind Bower. While he’s trying to remove the heavy clothing, Evan takes a knife and rams it into Bower’s unprotected leg.
Bower doesn’t react, and like any good soldier, retaliates twice as hard. His own knife is drawn and finds Evan’s arm. Bower drags it through Evan’s skin, and Evan pulls his own knife out and then back into Bower’s shoulder.
The others are scrambling around, trying to contain the fire that the explosion sparked. Evan and Bower continue to claw at each other. Their weapons skim their opponent’s flesh, barely breaking the skin.
“Damn it Evan, if Spencer can take out Jeremy, you can take out that bastard’s father.” Evan thought as he ducks another attack. Bower’s bleeding, not at a dangerous rate, but he’s still losing a fairly large amount. The wound Evan inflicted was much deeper, and hit a major artery.
“You’re done Bower.” Evan said, taking another swipe at Bower’s chest.
“No, you are.” Bower said. Despite the knife in his arm, and the fact that his vision is getting blurrier and blurrier, he pulls a gun (which was strapped to his back) and shoots. The shot is way off, flying straight over Evan’s head. Derek, who was watching from afar, is the one who finally takes Bower down.
Derek leaps forward, knocks Bower down and shoots him point blank. Bower glares all the while. And the last thing that on Jeremiah Bower’s mind, is wondering if he hit Evan or not.

“I see the light!” Nate laughed when the power returns to the building. Officer Connor reentered the room to let the group know they could “move freely about the cabin”.
“That was quick.” William said. They’d only been in the corner for fifteen or so minutes.
“I wonder why it went out in the first place?” Eric wondered, stretching his own arms over his head.
“Who knows. Moon Lake runs on its own power grid. And during the holidays it’s working on overdrive.” Connor said.
“I was kinda hoping we could go streaking down the halls with glow sticks. Clothing optional” Spencer remarks.
“Seriously?” Nate asked.
‘“Why not? There’s nothing better to do right now. And haven’t you ever wanted to do something crazy in a public place?”
“I guess.” Nate said.
“See, so why not just throw caution to the wind and…”
Though the hospital was a distance away, Spencer could still hear the explosion clear as anything else.
