After Samantha left, Officer Ryan walked into the interrogation room. Inside, Clair was still sitting in her chair, in a state of shock, and looking like she's about to cry. Officer Ryan simply didn't have the heart to tell her that she was under arrest. Instead, he put a firm but gentle hand on her arm and started to pull her up. "Ma'am," he started to say, "Could you come with me please?" Claire got up from her chair and started to walk with Officer Ryan. He led her to a holding cell. Without saying a word, she walked inside the holding cell, and Officer Ryan closed the door behind her. He watched as Claire went to her bed, and started to sob. Officer Ryan looked inside the cell, and couldn't help but feel a bit of compassion for the girl. She was young, but not much younger than himself. She just made a mistake, but it was a rather large one.

Samantha Twist arrived at the hospital soon after leaving the police station. After getting to the hospital she walked in and found Francis. After giving her a peck on the cheek, Samantha asked, "How is she?"
"Well, she's stable for now. I think our plan worked for the time being."
"Poor girl," Samantha replied, looking sympathetically at Julie in her room. "Where are the Stovalls?"
"With Julie and Dr. Tachibana. Dr. Tachibana says that Julie will need surgery to recover."
"I see."
"Oh," Francis started with a quick look at her mate, "Did you find the normal?"
"Yes, we found her in the woods. Pretty lucky if you ask me."
"Well, yes, I suppose she got away without any physical scars."
"Yeah, but the mental ones might not go away anytime soon. She was raving about 'wolf monsters'. No doubt she saw Eric and Cassie."
When Eric heard this, he winced a little. Although he was told repeatedly that this wasn't his fault, he couldn't help but feel a little guilty.
Francis noticed this but didn't say anything at this point. "Will we need to...well...induct her?"
"Possibly, but I'll need to speak to the mayor about this. Although this doesn't look like this is the time," Samantha replied, noting the Stovalls talking to Dr. Tachibana. "Honestly, I feel a bit sorry for the girl. She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, and she did some rather stupid things on top of that. A part of me just wants to let her go, especially if she really isn't a threat to Moon Lake."
