"Well, we'd both like to become mermaids actually…" you blush a little bit, thinking about yourself with a tail instead of legs, "but just choosing to be a mermaid forever? I don't know if we're ready for that."
"We completely understand," Kelly, the emerald-tailed mermaid spoke, "Why don't you just try it for a while?"
Corey looked at me and nodded. "We'd love to!" She said.
The other mermaids looked at each other knowingly and smiled.
"Well then," Lorelei said, "we need to kiss you."
"Kiss you?" You and Corey both exclaimed.
"Just pick whichever one of us you like the most, or we can choose for you if you don't mind." And take off your swimsuits if you don't want them ruined, of course.
The thought of kissing a woman you had just hardly met made you feel a little uncomfortable. Corey, on the other hand, eagerly jumped into the water and approached Clarissa, the ruby-tailed mermaid. She let her arms slide around her wide, scaled hips.
You called out to her, unsure, "Corey?"
Your friend glanced at you for a moment, only to turn and press her lips into her partner's. The water began to glow around the pair. Corey groaned softly, lips still locked with Clarissa, and before your eyes Corey's lower-half merged and transformed itself into a shimmering tail, yellow like a sunflower. You knew Corey loved that color. She looked at herself excitedly and turned to you. "C'mon Millie, this feels amazing!"
Before you realized, Lorelei had grabbed your hand. You let her pull you into a long kiss. You felt your lower-body melt away and reform like magic, and the next thing you knew you had a kelp green tail of your own.
Still holding you in her arms, Lorelei smiled, "What a lovely color, it even matches your eyes!"
"Huh? My eyes aren't green like that," you say.
"They are now, Millie." Corey points out. It's only now you notice that the other mermaids have eyes the same color as their tails. You wonder what else about you has changed.
"Well, now that you're mermaids," Barbra says, "what do you want to do first?"
