"Hey you!"
You hear another voice, but you can't seem to find where it is coming from. You look around but the only person you can see is the skunk girl, still sticking her ass in you face.
"Yeah, you. I am talking to you. If you want to survive, you better get your ass over here."
The voice is louder and seems to be coming from the water you just left. You turn around and look at it, but you still can't see anyone. You decide to investigate, and quietly walk towards the water. The skunk girl doesn't notice, as she keeps staring ahead and thrusting her tail and ass at you, waiting for you to take it.
"That's right. Keep coming. You are almost there."
You make it to the edge of the water, but still don't see anyone. You are sure that the voice came from here. But the only thing you can see is a strange log floating in the water.
"Hey! What are you doing? Come back here!"
Your turn back and see the skunk girl standing up. Evidently she has stopped presenting herself to you and finally noticed you slipped away. Now she is charging towards you. Suddenly, a powerful hand grips your ankle and pulls you into the water. The water is dark and murky, but you can make out the vague hourglass shape of a very beautiful woman. A woman with a long spiked tail!
Above the water you can hear the voices. As you slowly rise to the surface, you begin to make out what they are saying.
"No fair Lucy! He was mine! I am the only skunk in this forest! I am tired of being alone."
"Tough luck, Celia. You have to be quick and smart to get what you want out here. You know that. But if you want to fight me for him, I'm game."
As you breach the surface you see a large alligator woman resting her arms on the shore. The skunk girl, apparently named Celia, is standing on the shore far away. Celia is pouting, glaring at the alligator woman with her arms crossed. Celia then turns to look at you, treading the water to stay afloat .
Celia turns up her nose with a Humph. "Fine take him, " she says, as she turns and starts to walk away. She looks back over her shoulder, almost with tears in her eyes. "You don't know what you are missing. I would have loved you more than anyone else. It would have been wonderful. For both of us."
The alligator woman hisses. "Get out of here. He doesn't want you, " says Lucy angrily.
Celia turns and runs away, crying loudly as she runs.
Lucy clicks her tongue. "Poor Celia. Always acting like such a drama Queen. Are you okay, kid? " says Lucy, as she turns and offers her hand to you.
You begin to back away in fear.
"Relax, kid. If I wanted to hurt you, you would already be dead. I was just trying to help. But if you want to go back with her, I am sure you can catch up if you hurry. But I don't think you really realize what you are getting into when you hook up with a girl like Celia, " says Lucy.
You hesitate, unsure of what to do. Lucy suddenly waves her hand in front of her snout. "Whew, you stink. She really got you good. What's your name kid?"
"I'm John, " you mumble.
"Well, John, pleased to meet you. I wish it was under better circumstances. I am Lucy. And if you want to get that stink off you, you better come with me," says Lucy, as she begins to swim further into the pond.
You hesitate, and Lucy looks back over her shoulder. "Look, John, I am not going to hurt you. You are free to go wherever you please. You can go back to Celia, or try your luck in the wild. But I think I should warn you that there are a lot of other creatures out there. And not all of them are as friendly as me. Some of them can be really nasty. But like I said, the choice is yours," says Lucy, as she turns and resumes her swim.
You watch her glide through the water, and think about your options. You consider going back with Celia. She was pretty aggressive, but it was probably because she was lonely. You feel a little guilty about rejecting her and making her cry.
Also, a skunk seems like a much safer companion than an alligator. Then again, Lucy did just save you. From what you are not exactly sure. She seemed to indicate that Celia was a little unstable, maybe the possessive type. And it was true she could have easily killed you in the water. She could probably still kill you if she wanted to. But for some reason she's helping you. If the wild is so dangerous, it might be good to have a powerful friend like her. Then again, you really don't want to follow her deeper into the wild. Maybe it would be better to go back and try to find your way home on your own. You aren't too excited to continue alone, especially if Lucy was telling the truth about other monsters in the forest. You look up and see that Lucy is very far ahead. If you hope to catch up, you better make your decision soon.
