The sun rose over the sleepy little town of Moon Lake, and the various inhabitants, were and normal, were waking up to a beautiful Sunday morning.

Martin woke up from his sleep, sat up, and sat on the edge of the bed. He sighed as he ran his hand through his hair. After last night, there was quite a bit on his mind. It was mostly about Julie. Although she was in good medical hands, he couldn't help but worry about her. Would she get over Eric? Would she recover? Could she find love in some other man? What about her future? Also, on his mind was Claire. This normal was a victim of circumstance more than anything. He wasn't thrilled about changing her against her will, but at the same time, he had a duty to protect this town. Heavy things were on his mind, and he would have to make some difficult decisions soon.
After a few minutes in his own thoughts, Martin felt an arm go around his chest and felt a kiss on his cheek. "Morning dear," a familiar female voice whispered into his ear. He smiled, turned, and kissed the person behind him. "Morning honey," he responded back. He looked at his wife, Melissa, as she had woken up as well. He was grateful for small favors.
"Sleep well?" she asked.
"As well as can be expected, considering the circumstances."
Melissa smiled and said, "I'm sure you'll do the right things." Martin smiled at his wife in gratitude. He got up off the bed and said, "Well, the day isn't going to start itself." He turned to his wife and asked, "Care for a morning swim before breakfast?" Melissa's smile grew larger and she responded, "I thought you'd never ask."

Eric woke with a smell invading his nose. It smelt like sausage and eggs and other breakfast foods. His stomach growled at the prospect of food. His eyes popped open and he jumped out of bed. He made his way down to the kitchen to see his mother working over a couple of pans. "Morning mom."
"Morning dear," Martha replied. "Care for some breakfast?"
Eric smiled and said, "You bet. I'll set the table."
Martha told Eric, "Could you get your brothers as well?"

Samantha Twist woke alone in bed. She looked around and noticed that the bathroom light on. She picked herself up off of the bed and made her way to the bathroom. She then noticed Francis in front of the mirror, fully dressed and getting ready for the day. She hugged Francis from behind and said "Morning."
Francis smiled, turned, and said, "Morning sleepy head. About time you got up."
"Hey, some of us have things don't have things to do in the morning. I see you're up and ready to go this morning."
"Well," Francis said to her wife, "I need to see this Claire girl." Samantha nodded as she remembered the conversation from the previous night.
"Too bad. I'm in the mood to 'play' this morning."
Francis smiled and continued to work on her hair, "Well, maybe later tonight, after we deal with the crises at hand. We could even Martha over."
Samantha smiled and kissed Francis's neck. "Sounds like a plan." She then let go and allowed Francis to continue preparing for the morning.

Claire woke up with sunlight beaming through the holding cell window. At first, she wanted to believe that she was back in her college dorm room, but after blinking her eyes a bit, she saw the reality of her situation. Her eyes were red with crying, and she sighed at her predicament. She looked outside at the sleepy little town, perhaps a little more sleepy now that it was Sunday morning, and people were waking up. She looked out the window of her cell door, noted that no one was there, and that the door was still locked. She frowned and sat back on her bed. She had no idea what lay in store for her that day.
