Julie ran upstairs with the chocolate box in her hands. At first she was upset that she left it in the kitchen when she made the last chocolate shake for Rachel. But now she was glad it was downstairs after Rachel's last change. Who knows what would have happened if she had absorbed even more of the chocolates?
"Excuse me, Ma'am, " said Julie, as she brushed past Mary and ran up to the door. Although fear had killed her erection, she still had a sizable bulge. But if Mary noticed, she didn't say anything. She seemed more concerned with the slime leaking under her daughter's door.
"What is that thing?" asked Mary with shock and awe.
"Umm, just a little science experiment Rachel and I were working on. Don't worry. We'll soon have it under control," said Julie. She flipped open the box and looked at the white chocolates. She wasn't sure which chocolates would reverse the change, but she figured that the Growth chocolates were a good place to start. She started feeding the tendrils white chocolates for Growth and Fat. The tendrils greedily absorbed them. Julie could hear the door creak as the pressure from the other side lessened. Rachel was shrinking.
After a few minutes, Julie slowly opened the door. In the corner, she saw Rachel crying, with her face in her hands. She still looked a little chubby, but her height had been reduced to about Julie's height of 5'6".
"Oh Rachel dear. What is the matter? Are you okay?" said Mary as she entered the room to hug and comfort her child. Julie tried to hold her back, but Mary pushed past her.
Rachel looked up and Mary stopped dead in her tracks. Rachel still looked mostly human. She had the outline of a young woman. But all of her features looked soft, like they were made of wax. Her skin was pale white, almost translucent, and seemed to be in constant motion, like flowing water or melting wax. Mary fainted dead away at the sight, and Rachel began to sob again.
Julie stepped forward to comfort her, but was careful to stay out of reach. She remembered what happened to the cat.
"Hey there. Don't cry. It's not so bad, " said Julie.
"Not so bad! I'm a monster! I ate my own cat," said Rachel angrily.
"That was an accident. You said so yourself. That's not the Rachel I know. The real Rachel is very kind and sweet. You just lost control for a little while. It's perfectly understandable given the situation," said Julie.
"I'm sorry for being cross with you. I'm sorry for everything. If it hadn't been for you, I would still be rampaging or something. But what am I going to do now? I can't live like this. I wish I had never found that box of chocolates," said Rachel sadly.
"Don't give up just yet. I am sure if there was a dark chocolate that made you this way there must be a white chocolate that can reverse it. We just have to find the right one. I'll help you look. We can do it together, " said Julie.
"But what about her? How do I explain this to my Mom?" asked Rachel.
Julie chuckled. "We'll just make her think she had a strange dream. What is she more likely to believe? That her daughter became partly slime, or that she just had a nightmare?"
Rachel chuckled and smiled. It was the first time she looked happy since she had changed.
"C'mon. Let's get to work on that antidote. I still haven't got to try out my new equipment like you promised, and I don't want it to be dissolved before I get a chance," said Julie.
Rachel smiled and slid over next to Julie, and began to look through the candy box with her.
