"Well," Jacob said, "at least we still have the game here."
"Yeah." Tim said.
"Hey, have you ever wondered what it's like to be a dragon?" Jacob asked. "I mean, you might have a long neck, you need to be carful with that swishing tail, not to mention that two wings mean two more limbs to control."
"I think it sounds cool!" Tim said. He knew all too well what Jacob was thinking. As Jacob turned to the computer, he clicked on himself and found a menu. After selecting TRANSFORM, he chose the transform option BODY. He typed in all the features and aspects he wanted, and then followed the same procedure with [computer] Tim according to Tim's wishes.
As soon as they clicked TRANSFORM, Jacob and Tim watched as their changes began: their skin turned into scales, their necks grew a foot longer each, and their body began to grow from the backs of their shoulders and their coccyges/tailbones. When the instantaneous transformations were complete, the two [former] boys looked and smiled at their new forms. Jacob was red with a beige stomach and purple hair. Tim was green with a gray stomach and brown hair. Jacob had also grown gray claws and horns, with a purple ridge on his new tail. Both boys had also grown relatively simple wings, which they easily adjusted to along with their new tails. An observer would believe that they had been dragons for their entire lives, not just for thirty seconds.
"Awesome!" Jacob said. He could not stop spinning his head and looking at every inch of his dragon body. Tim felt the same way, smiling not just for what had happened, but also for what could happen. It didn't take long for Jacob to realize this, and soon the two began wondering what to do next.
The question was interesting: what could they do next? They had a computer game that could change anything and anyone in the house, possibly even the city.
