Meanwhile, back in Virginia, the FBI was still investigating the murder of Jeff Decker.
The head of the investigation was Agent Theodore Green. The agent had agreed to solve this case and bring justice to the killer, but so far, the agent had come up dry. He and his men had investigated the scene of the murder almost five times now, and they hadn't found anything.
Theodore was at the crime scene for the fifth time this month. He had promised the Deckers he would find who murdered Jeff, but he hadn't found anything, not even a single drop of blood!
It was about time to close the case, as the FBI director hadn't given them much time to solve the case. Sighing, Theodore Green closed his briefcase. However, as he was about to leave, another agent on the case came rushing through the trees.
"Sir, sir!," he yelled, "We've got something!"
"Well spit it out man!," Theodore yelled.
"We believe we found a suspect in the murder."
"Well where does he live?"
"Washington, sir."
"Washington State? Where in Washington?"
"A town called Moon Lake sir."
Theodore felt his blood run cold. He remembered Jeff's wife mentioning moving to that town.
"The family is there!," Theodore Green yelled, "Tell the other agents to pack up their stuff! We're going to Moon Lake."
