Amy knew that human children were often spirited away by fairies, and she knew this child needed someone to watch over her. Her own new mischevious nature spirited into her decision as she touched the child's forehead. In that instant, the child was bathed in light, and both reappeared in a new place.
There were clear blue streams, flowers that grew tall as trees, and vast places where one might run and hide. It was the fairy realm, Sandra's new home. Amy smiled. "Welcome to your new home little one."
Time would pass, and the child grew under the fairies of the realm, bathed in magic. She grew very slowly, but eventually stopped. Magic was a wonderful thing and being around fairies, she was now akin to them without complete magic herself. Her ears became slightly pointed as her own nature absorbed the mischeif and curiosity of her keepers. One day, Sandra was wandering the woods when she came upon the portal home...
