"Great," cried Rachel. "Now what am I supposed to do, anyway?"
"Well, first you can stop acting like a little brat. I'm only trying to help, you know. It's not my fault you're shrinking, " said Jana.
Rachel was shocked. Jana was usually pretty mousy and passive. This angry aggressive outburst revealed a side of Jana she had never seen. A side she didn't want to see anymore of. Jana now towered over her, and she realized that Jana was now in charge, whether she liked it or not.
"I'm sorry," mumbled Rachel.
Jana bent over and leaned down to her level, putting a hand to her ear. "What was that? I am afraid I couldn't hear you. It must be because you are so small. It couldn't be because you are a rude little girl."
Rachel could feel herself continue to shrink and began to panic. "Okay, okay. I'm sorry! I'm truly, really sorry! I won't yell at you or be bad again. Just help me! I think I am still shrinking."
"That's better, " said Jana, leaning back and standing up to her full height. She towered over Rachel, and she reveled in her new found stature. Rachel had always bossed her around. She didn't mind. They were friends after all. But she couldn't help but feel a little pleasure in their new reversed roles. "Now, I am going to help you and get you out of here. But you have to be a good girl and do what I tell you. Now put on this dress. It looks like it should fit you now, and I can't take you out of here naked."
In truth, the dress now looked too big for Rachel. But she sighed and slipped it on anyway. What choice did she have?
As Rachel put on the dress Jana saw with some disappointment that she had stopped shrinking. She had hoped that Rachel would continue to get younger and cuter. But even at her current age she was just adorable. Jana leaned down and tried to adjust the large pink dress around Rachel's smaller body. She struggled with it a little. As she continued to adjust it, it didn't seem so baggy anymore. It was almost like ......
Then the realization of what was happening to Rachel hit her like a tone of bricks. She watched in fascination as Rachel's body grew, slowly, almost unperceptively, until she fit the dress. Jana looked at the tag in the neck and saw it was a 7. She quickly deduced that Rachel was now seven years old. She thought Rachel was cuter at six, but she was still pretty adorable.
"Hey, I think this thing fits me. Lucky break, huh?" said Rachel.
She didn't realize she grew, thought Jana with excitement. She doesn't know that she grows or shrinks based on what kind of clothes she puts on. This has definite possibilities. I wonder if she will change in other ways, depending on the clothes she wears. If she wears a bigger bra, will she get bigger breasts? If she puts on a jock, will she turn into a guy? What would happen if she wore doll clothes? Or if she had worn that diaper for just a little bit longer?
Jana was giddy with excitement. She couldn't wait to get home with Rachel to experiment. For now, she was satisfied with the power she had as an older sister. But she had plans for Rachel when they got home. Big plans. She had whole trunks of clothes and outfits for Rachel to wear. But she still wondered if she might need to make a few more purchases before she went home.
