Ty's Power

Peter's Secret Identity

added by scriptboy 19 years ago BM O

“Darn it, Ty! I just remembered… I have to leave soon!” Allen said out loud, as if he just remembered something.

“Come on, dude! Just now, when we’re having some fun with our powers? Why do you have to go?” Ty responded, feeling a little disappointed in his friend’s timing.

“I just remembered that my church had asked me to volunteer for the Foster Parents’ Association. I need to show up and hang out with a group of foster kids. It’s for community service at school. I have to go…” Allen explained.

“But that sounds like fun! Can’t we just go there now? Can I join you?” Ty wondered.

“Well, I was supposed to dress up as a comic book character, just to entertain the kids. But I don’t really feel like getting dressed in my Spider-man suit.”

“But wait! How about Peter? You can use your power to change Peter and you can transform him and let him go in your place!” Ty said excitedly.

“Yeah but he can’t go as Spider-man. He needs to be some other character…” Allen replied.

“I know! Let’s turn him into Superman… With costume, cape, powers and everything!” Ty shouted with a grin.

“But, won’t he get mad if I suddenly turn him into Superman?” Allen wondered, showing a deep concern.

“Don’t worry! Superman is his favorite character. Besides, he dressed up as Superman for Halloween… Why, I think he still has his super powers! He just needs the costume! Here, let me do it!” Ty responded. Then Ty closed his eyes and began to concentrate…

Peter was on his way home from school. He had a meeting with Daniel, the editor of the school newspaper. He was feeling a bit tired and hungry, and he was looking forward to getting home.

When he was only two blocks away from Dustin’s house, he began to feel a strange tingling feeling over his body. Suddenly he could no longer move, and found himself standing on the sidewalk. A blue fabric began to cover his legs, as his basketball shoes, high tops, socks and shorts disappeared. Instead he seemed to be covered with a blue costume along with red boots!

“Hey… What’s going on? What happened to my new LeBron basketball shoes?” he wondered, as he looked down and noted that his new Nike’s were gone. Next, his t-shirt disappeared, revealing more of the blue costume that was now covering all of him. He wore a red pair of shorts with a yellow belt. He also felt a long, red fabric that was hanging from his shoulders… Was that a cape?

“Awww… holy moly…. I’m wearing some kind of costume? Why, I look like…” Peter thought out loud.

“Alright, Allen. I did the transformation. Now make him fly to the church building where the meeting will be held, where the foster kids will be! Boy, are they in for a treat, when Superman shows up!” Ty said with a laugh. Allen then concentrated on Peter again.

Peter was confused and began to look around.

“Ty? Are you doing this to me? What’s the idea, turning me into Superman? What am I supposed to…? WHOA!” Peter shouted, as he began to float in the air. An outside force made Peter stretch his arms out in front of him, as he lay on his stomach in mid air, while he picked up speed. Superman was soaring across the sky and headed towards the large recreation facility, which was located next to the church building.

When Peter landed in the parking lot, there was a group of kids waiting to be allowed in to the building. They all cheered when Peter landed, right in front of all of them. Before Peter could say anything, he heard Ty’s voice inside of his head.

“Alright, Superman! Just entertain the kids and play video games and pool with them. Remember, you are now a super hero! So have fun, Allen and I will join you there shortly!” Ty said to him.

The blue and red super hero then walked up to the kids and greeted them and the counselors. They all walked down to the game room, where they had a pool table, a foosball table, and about 20 small monitors playing video games on them.

The kids were asking him all kids of questions, and he ended up playing pool with a few of them. A few minutes later, Ty and Allen showed up as well.

“What’s going on? Why did you turn me into Superman?” Peter asked them.

“Shhh!!” Ty said to him, holding his finger in front of his lips. “You’re Superman, remember? Allen was supposed to dress up but he didn’t feel like it. Besides, you’re perfect for the part. Just enjoy yourself and fly home when we’re done. I’ll change you back later… Although you look kinda cool dressed in blue tights, Peter!”

Peter became a little annoyed with Ty but he couldn’t say anything, for one of the foster kids had asked him to play a new game of pool.

“Ty! I have to do this every month! Can you have Peter stay like that?” Allen asked Ty.

“That’s not a bad idea! I just love to see our super hero at school tomorrow!” Ty laughed. Both Allen and Ty chuckled, for they had converted Peter into a worthy super hero.
