Lucas thought it was so funny seeing his brother's picture with a pig's tail, he decided to add an even funnier snout. He drew over the mouth and nose in pink crayon and used the black crayon to draw two big nostrils. He giggled some more.

Cautiously, I let go of my new tail and started patting my hands over my body, trying to feel for any other changes. Face: fine. Ears: human-shaped. Hair: still ok. Feet, chest, elbows... all normal. I turned myself around in the mirror, opened my mouth wide, and gazed into my own eyes. Everything was fine. I breathed a tentative sign of relief.
The relief was short-lived. Suddenly my face felt funny. The same tugging feeling I had just felt was in my nose and mouth. I watched the mirror, mesmerized, as my nose turned upward and fused with my upper lip. Together, they grew out a few inches. Then they grew out some more. They still weren't finished! Just when I thought they would never stop, the feeling subsided. My nostrils were huge! I could feel them there, flaring as air rushed through them.
My snout was so long I could actually see it sticking out in front of me even without the mirror. Grabbing it with my hands, I found it just as vividly real as any other body part. I could trace my fingers over the top of it or stick them into the gaping nostrils. It was bizarre.
What on earth was happening? How could I be turning into a pig?
Finally I just sat there whimpering, one hand clutching my snout, the other fumbling for my tail.
