Jared looked into the murky water. Maybe if he drained the tub, his body would change back? He pulled the drain plug, and water started to spiral down the drain. He feels his tail twisting and turning and going down the drain. Suddenly, Jared understood why all those stories of fishermen netting mermaids or mercreatures never produced any proof when the nets were opened. Mermen, mermaids and mercreatures simply liquified and pass through the nets like dripping water. Jared was going down the tub drain. He felt himself surfing, spiraling downward through the old pipes in the floors and walls and down toward the septic system? He shuddered. He had to stop it. His liquid hands couldn't hold the stopper, and soon the tub would be empty.
