Notes: I think I can say what Claire's decision partially is at least.
-----------------------------------------------
Claire was talking to Ryan about her thoughts over the phone. "Listen, Ryan, I've made a decision about what I want to do about us and Moon Lake." As she was talking, her hand that was not holding her cellphone was fidgeting with the top button of her shirt. This was being done, though, without Claire being aware of what was happening as she was focused on her conversation with Ryan.
"Go on," Ryan answered, encouraging an answer from Claire.
"Well, I've made a decision about two things. First is that I love this town. The people here are so nice, and I love being near nature. This town definitely could be home for me. I want to stay here." Claire's hand moved down to the next button on her shirt, and started to undo that button.
"And what's the other thing?" Ryan asked.
Claire took a deep breath and continued. "The other is that...I want to be with you, Ryan. This isn't easy for me to say, but I've fallen in love you. I mean, I know we only have known each other for a couple days, but you're so sweet and handsome, and you've done right by me. I can't stop thinking about you, and I really do want to be with you." Claire could feel her face heat up as it turned red. Claire's hand undid the next button on her shirt and moved down to the next one.
If Claire could see Ryan, she would see a big smile on his face. "I love you too, Claire. And I want to be with you too. We can discuss more when you get back home."
When Claire heard Ryan say this, a big smile appeared on her face. She thought for a moment before she continued. "This means that if I want to stay here and stay with you, I'll need to become a were. And that's my other decision. I want to be a were-something. I'm just not exactly sure which one yet." Claire's hand continued to undo the buttons on her shirt without Claire noticing. By now, half of her shirt was open, and it could be clear that Claire wasn't wearing a bra. Her breasts were generally small enough that she didn't need to wear one.
"I see," Ryan said as he tried to envision his and Claire's future together. "Any thoughts on which were-society you'd like to join?"
"Well," Claire walked as she thought for a moment. "That's the tricky part. I've definitely crossed out any aquatic based weres. I've seen both you and Barbara, and werewolves definitely look beautiful and powerful. Plus, since you're a werewolf already, we would be a match. However, being at this weretiger pride meeting, these weretigers are so beautiful and powerful as well. There's something about them that I'm in awe about. I've almost made a decision, but I wanted to talk to you first." Claire's hand moved down her shirt and started on the button that was the next one down. By now, most of Claire's shirt was open, and if someone was looking, they could see her slim stomach.
"I see," Ryan said, thinking for a bit. "Listen, Claire, you should know a few things. First, no matter which were you become, you'll still be you. I will still love you no matter what you do." Claire smiled when she heard that. "Second, understand that when you do change, it'll be permanent. There'll be no second chances, and no turn backs. If you want to change your mind, now's the time to do it. Third, while you'll still be the same person on the inside, you'll be different on the outside, even outside of your wereform. Depending on the were you become, there will be noticeable changes, so be aware of that."
"Okay," Claire said, "Thank you for that, Ryan. It's helped me make a decision about what I want to do."
"I'm glad I could help," Ryan replied. "I'll be here tonight when you get back. I love you."
Claire smiled as she heard this. "I love you too." With that, she hung up her phone. At the same time, her hand which was unbuttoning her shirt undid the last button. A cold breeze blew across her shirt, and it was at that point that she noticed her shirt was open. She gave a quick "eep" and closed it quickly. But then she thought that if she was going to be a were, she'd better be used to being nude. She let her shirt go, but at the same time, didn't take it off. She just left it open. She looked over to Ben, still in his weretiger form. Holding her phone, she thought for a few minutes and then walked over to Ben to tell him her decision about joining the pride.
