Andrew sniffled, "Okay, thanks."
"Oh, and in case something happens... my name's Candy. Try to remember it." She took one of the nickles from the stack and rolled it down the oscillating chute. It clattered off the wheel and she immediately tried another. "Stupid wheel," she muttered.
Though she'd already played her one attempt, Candy kept at it until the coin went in. Lights blinked, bells went off, and yet another card popped out of the slot. He looked at her, but she wouldn't face him. "It wasn't the wish slot," she mumbled, "I almost don't want to look..."
But she removed the card, and with a deep breath flipped it over it said...
