"Could you help me get my shoes off? I think I can play with my toes."
"Uh, sure," the girl said, "can you balance on one foot?"
Andy looked down at his armless heavy-uddered body. "Uh, no. I guess not."
"I can help with that, too," she told him as she went to untie his skate shoes. They came off, along with his socks to reveal his feet. His toes might just be nimble enough to grip the coin and get it in the slot. She helped him balance on his left foot while she slipped a nickle between the toes of his outstretched right.
"I can't see the wheel from here," he lamented, having to lean way back to get his foot high enough.
"Here," the girl said, leaning against the edge of the game while she held him upright by his hoodie. She stared down at the glass top, and he waited for her signal to let it go.
"Uh, thanks for all the help... uh."
"Candy. My name's-- Gogogo!" she shouted, interrupting herself.
He let the coin go...
