Justin loathed servicing "Attila the Hun's" computer. "Attila" was the nickname Justin called Mr. Hundul behind his back. He was relieved when he found Mr. Hundul's office empty. Justin sat down at the desk to see why Mr. Hundul's computer was running slow this time. He was surprised to see the Chronivac program detailing Mr. Hundul's shrinking plan. A 22" doll man? That would be about the size of a puppy. Justin stuck his tongue between his lips as he considered. Mr. Hundul was his boss, but Justin had just lost his dog, and wanted a new puppy. This Chronivac seemed like a divine opportunity to solve two problems: get Mr. Hundul off his back, and get a puppy. So he started typing.
"Justin?" Mr. Hundul asked as his computer rebooted. He suddenly forgot all about the Chronivac program he had running.
"Yes, Mr. Hundul, you asked me to clean up your computer. It should be running faster now."
"Uh, okay. I thought I had an open program?" Lance said uncertainly.
"No worries. If there was anything running, it would be autosaved, when I ran my diagnostics. Are you losing weight, sir?" Justin asked, as he walked pass Mr Hundul.
"Uh, maybe?" Lance said as he looked up at Justin. His clothing did seem to be hanging looser. What was up with his memory today? He seemed to have forgotten something rather important.
"Oh, Ms. Hanrahan," Justin said as he headed back to the server room and his office, "would it be okay, if I bring my puppy by the office later today? I'm supposed to pick it up this afternoon - they close at 5 pm," he added, "The puppy will be in an animal carrier."
"Well, just don't let Mr. Hundul see," she advised. "I'm glad you're getting a new puppy. I was sad to hear about King Arthur. So what is your new puppy going to be called?"
"I was thinking about Attila?" Justin answered with a smile, then catching himself he added, "Or Ghengis Khan?"
"Attila?" she laughed and rolled her eyes toward Mr. Hundul's office.
