"Stacy, you were late on your entrance cue. Ross, you spoke your lines to loud. Opening Night's next week, this is crunch time!" Carly yelled from her seat in the audience.
Grumbling, Teresa folded her arms across her chest and stood in the wings. She wasn't even in this scene, why does she have to be out here? She could see Ross and Will and Stacy rehearsing the scene where Ross, with a lion tail swaying behind him, tries to persuade the Sojourn to remove aforementioned tail.
Checking to see if anyone was coming, Teresa quickly slipped backstage into the green room. God, she needed a smoke. She tore open an pack, stuck it in her mouth, and lit it, blowing smoke into the room. Her eyes caught a dusty old script lying a corner. Confused, she picked it up and scanned the pages, finding nothing. But, on the very last page, a the word Sojourn was written three times (SAY OUT LOUD THREE TIMES). Just for the hell of it, Teresa closed her eyes and said the monster's name three times.
Suddenly, a cold gust of wind came from nowhere. Teresa suddenly felt very cold. Shivering, she realized they had spare blankets in the prop loft. She scurried up there as fast as she could. When she got there, she found some blankets and...a black cat sitting on the pile.
She was about to report this strange event everyone when she suddenly felt sort of sorry for the cat. It looked scared. She reached over and stroked it's head. "Aw... it's going to be ok, buddy." She said.
What Teresa didn't know was that no matter what form the Sojourn took, it could never change it's eyes, which were yellow and reptilian looking. The cat had such eyes, but Teresa didn't seem to notice. She was holding the Sojourn in disguise.
