More than any of the other monsters, it was Dracula Nate felt the strongest connection to. He longed to be a vampire and serve at Dracula's side. He imagined himself as a faithful companion to the legendary vampire, learning at his side how to be a true fanged fiend of the night, not a sparkly emo freak like in those damn Twilight books, enjoying the fantasy. Little did he know that he was about to get his wish. He could feel himself growing colder, suddenly glad he wore a hoodie as he sat back in his chair, enjoying the show. The subtle changes overcame him as he slowly grew paler. He nails grew slightly longer as his incisors grew into sharp fangs. As the transformation ended, he felt a supernatural strength grow in him. One that only spoke to needing to feed to grow stronger. He may not have fully realized it yet, but he was now a vampire. He felt a sudden shock as his tongue grazed one of his new fangs. He felt around more and then suddenly he just knew. The show had transformed him and he was now a monster. That the people in the show were real monsters and he was now one of them. He began to grin from ear to ear as he leaned back in his seat and watched the rest of the show.
The show continued as the various monsters looked over their transforming audience as new vampires, werewolves, cursed dolls and a even a new bride for Frankenstein's monster were created. There was nary a monster hunter or angry ancient god to be found, perhaps for once this was their night, wondered Dracula. A night to rebuild their ranks. Still, the night was young...
