OH NO! thought the figure, spotting Eric Anderson alone in Julie Stovall's clutches. I've got to act fast!
"There you are! I've been looking all over for you!" declared Frieda Knight, as she approached them. Eric looked in emotional discomfort, if not outright pain, while Julie had a big smile on her face until she was interrupted.
"Go away Frieda," ordered Julie. "Can't you see we're busy?" she asked, while continuing to roughly massage Eric's penis in his pants.
"Would love to, but I can't. I've been looking all over for you Julie. Your mom's at the front entrance and hopping mad that you weren't there waiting for her," announced Frieda.
"Damn!" said Julie, realizing that she would be in further trouble if she didn't get out there quick. "We'll have to continue this another time," Julie told Eric, kissing the top of his head while pulling her hand out of his pants to lick the pre-cum off her fingers. "Thanks Frieda," she added, walking away from the teenagers.
The moment Julie Stovall was no longer in sight, Frieda turned to Eric and said, "Quick, call your brother or some other guy you trust and have them meet us at the restrooms near here," as she started pulling Eric up by one hand.
"What? Why?" he wanted to know.
"Because I've figured out how Julie plans to get her so-called revenge against you and Spencer. If she's scratched you, you're on your way to become a were-merman and Julie can claim it was an accident and avoid facing a Statue 1-A violation!"*
"What? NO!" cried Eric. "We've been trying to find a werepanthress so I can become a werepanther to be Spencer's perfect mate logistically to her hybrid fursona," he said, fighting a losing battle against the tears and totally forgetting who he was talking to.
Ignoring what Eric said, but not forgetting it, Frieda grabbed the cellphone out of his hand to make the call herself while Eric rushed into the boys bathroom near the exit they were at.
Tense moments later, Frieda was relieved to see Nate Anderson approaching. Having managed to keep anyone else from entering it, she simply pointed at the entrance to the boys room.
Nate nodded in understanding before going in.
Waiting for the Andersons to come back outside and find out Eric's fate, Frieda grabbed Ben Twist, his boyfriend Alex Ramsey, and Spencer Lawson as they approached to join up for the carpool ride home.
Upon hearing the news, it was all Ben and Alex could do to hold Spencer and keep her from changing to go after Julie herself.
"What if he's..." began Spencer, with as much anger as raw emotion in her voice, trying to hold herself together.
"Then you'll still love him, no matter what," was Frieda's response, which actually calmed Spencer down a bit.
"I warned him to be careful, but when he's lost in a book, Eric wouldn't even notice Godzilla tap dancing next to him," replied Spencer, after Ben and Alex thought it was safe to let her go.
"Well, it's a good thing I was looking for you guys and spotted them when I did," said Frieda, not knowing whether or not Mrs. Stovall really was outside; before telling Spencer and the others about the incident between her and Julie in the girls restroom after lunch and how she wasn't going to do anything for that bitch of an ex-friend any more, despite the fact Julie thought Frieda was now her mole.
"By the way, while he was falling apart worried about his future with you, Eric cried something about you being a hybrid? That would explain the unique scent you have," added Frieda with a smile.
"Yeah. My dad's a full fledged werewolf, while my mom's a panthress with some werecat in her. I'm the lucky combo of the three, which makes finding someone a bit difficult for me," admitted Spencer.
Then Frieda pulled her aside and whispered, "And since Eric's still hopefully a normal, does that mean he's also..."
To which Spencer simply nodded her head affirmatively.
It was a few more minutes after Frieda and Spencer finished their conversation before Nate came back out, escorting Eric.
The moment he was with the others, Eric ran to and started hugging Spencer.
Spencer returned the hug and looked up at Nate, worried.
"It was weird looking at it. Not an experience I'd want to repeat," began Nate, forgetting the relationship between Ben and Alex as he spoke. "It's bruised, but thankfully the skin's still intact. NO scratches!"**
Everyone released a collective sigh of relief as Spencer quickly sniffed her boyfriend and confirmed for herself that Eric was still normal.
"I'm gonna kill that bitch!" declared Spencer, starting to get angry again.
"Don't. I have a better idea," said Frieda, before whispering in Spencer's ear.

*Regardless of what Moon Lake story line you're reading, any were guilty and convicted of turning a normal into a were against their will faces a minimum jail sentence of 50 years.
**Okay, maybe I should have left this option open to the next author, but considering how I personally feel about Moon Lake in general, and some of the characters specifically...
