You're surrounded on all sides by people jumping up and down and dancing to the loud, pumping music. You look down and notice that you're attire has changed: You' re wearing a black jean jacket and a white Nirvana t-shirt. Your sweats have been replaced with navy blue jeans and your shoes have turned into black Converse. You go to pull out your phone... but realize that it's turned into a flip phone! You open the camera and turn the phone around to take a picture of yourself. You pull it up and are shocked to see that your hair has turned jet black and is messily styled with gel.
Suddenly, a girl wearing a red top knocks into you. Your phone flies out of your grip and lands on the grass. "Geez, I'm sorry!" she says, picking up your phone and handing it to you. You look around at the other dancers and see they all have flip phones as well. "Who's playing?" you ask to the girl. "Twenty One Pilots? The Chainsmokers? Disclosure?" The girl looks at you with a confused face. "What are those bands? I've never heard of them. This is a My Chemical Romance cover band." She smiles and grabs your hands. "C'mon, let's go to the center of the mosh pit!" You follow her blindly through the crowd, bumping into people as they dance and headbang to the music.
Eventually you're in the middle of the mosh pit, where the dancing is at it's wildest. There are so many bodies packed in here that you can barley move. A couple lies on the grass near the stage making out. You glance up at the stage and hear the cover band just finishing Welcome to the Black Parade. The leader singer goes up to the microphone, smiles, and says, "All right, this will be the last few songs before the end of the night! Let's hear it for 2006!" Everyone in the crowd cheers except you, as all the color drains from your face.
You tap the girl on the shoulder as she is cheering. "Hey, what's the date?" you ask her quickly. She pulls a pocket colander out of her, well, pocket, and says "It's May 16th." "What year?" you ask frantically. She laughs. "You don't know what year it is?" she asks, looking shocked. "How stoned are you right now? It's 2006! Now c'mon, let's go get some drinks!" She grabs your hand again and pulls you through the crowd as you stumble along behind her. You've somehow entered a time warp back ten years that leads to a 2006 alt rock concert. What should you do now?
