While looking through the aisle of various bottles containing who knows what in them, a vial on the rack caught the notice of Joanna's green eyes as she picks the item up from its resting place to throughly examine it. The vial, labeled "Mermaid Scales" in strong bold letters, was filled with shiny prelecient rose crystals floating in what looked to be bath milk. For a second, holding it to her ear, Joanna thought she heard a wave crashing onto a beach shore. Either way, Joann seemed drawn to the item before hearing the old lady's voice snapping her out of her brief trance. "Go on dear.. it's yours if you want it." "So how much is it?," Joanna asked and the old lady cryptically answered, "It's free, since it is the fate you picked." "Right...," Joanna said before glancing at her watch. "I gotta go." With that, Joanna attempts to run through the park to work hoping to make it in time.
