A few hours have passed since the incident at the desk, Joanna finished her paperwork and decided to take a lunch break in the break room. Once there, helping herself to a blueberry muffin, Joanna noticed Chloe sitting down while holding a hand over her forehead. “Is something wrong, Chloe?” asked Joanna. Chloe paused before saying, "It's nothing; just a minor headache.” “Oh,” retorted Joanna “Either way, I doubt Mr. Anderson would let you go home for a headache.” “Unless it was really severe, right?” asked Chloe. “I'm not sure," Joanna replied "Remember the time that Andy from sales got his hand caught in the copier?”
“Oh, yeah," Chloe said as it comes back to her. "First he got his necktie caught in the copier, and then he tried to pull it out while it was still running." “And to think Mr. Anderson didn't let him go home early that day. I mean, it wasn't that bad, but still..,” Joanna said while giggling a bit. The girls have a good laugh, especially over how big Andy's eyes got at the time. “Anyway," Joanna said with reassurance. "I'm pretty sure that headache of yours will go away soon enough, Chloe." “Yeah, I guess you're right,” said Chloe. “Now if you excuse me, I have a checkbook to finish balancing.” “Okay,” said Joanna as she watched Chloe leave before following suit once she finished having her meal.
