Christianna didn't take long to bring Jamilla all the 'treasure' in the house. A cheap gold necklace with a dollar sign medallion, and a single gold ring, without even a big fancy gem or magical inscription! Annoyed, Jamilla grabbed her roughly by the arm and flew off to the nearby coal mine. The look to the place was all wrong as well, but at least it was a mountain with a hole in the side, even if there was a road leading up and a bunch of old machinery nearby.
Dumping Christianna roughly to the ground, Jamilla took the meager handful of gold and dropped it on the ground inside a short distance down the shaft. That wouldn't do at all! Barking an order for Christianna to begin cleaning away all the dirt, grime, and rusted old carts, Jamilla began to think. How could he get his hands on a proper pile of glittering riches in a boring town like this? As he pondered, his stomach began to growl as well. A dragon such as him would of course have an equally impressive appetite! He could always devour his servant... but then who'd handle the drudgery of cleaning up his lair?
