Feeling a little hungry, Jim decided to head to the food court. Considering he had just jumped ahead 3 years, it's not surprising that he would require more food. Fortunately, the credit cards that came with his altered clothes will easily pay for his expenses.
As Jim enjoyed his lunch, he looked around the food court. He was more aware now of how many girls there were here. There were plenty of cute ones that were close to his current age of 15. In his later stage of puberty, Jim felt the tug towards the opposite sex a lot stronger than he did at 15. He looked like a pretty cute guy, it would probably be easy for him to get the interest of one of those girls.
And yet, Jim felt a bit of curiosity towards other girls. There was at least one group of girls who looked like they were in their last year of high school if not already in college. It'd be easy for him to age himself up just a little so he can get their attention. There was also a group of younger girls that were close to Jim's original age. Jim recognized them from his school and it made him wonder what they'd look like if they were older.
But aging up those school girls (or potentially aging down those college girls) probably had a bigger effect than just using the balloon on himself. Surely they'd notice the changes in their bodies. Jim check the balloon's instruction manual for any advice about this. He soon noticed something on one page: "When altering one or multiple subjects, it may become necessary to reduce their awareness. This can be achieved by saying 'Control awareness of changes' while the balloon is in an inflated state and releasing the air. This particular command does not have to be focused specific subjects and can be used to make all witnesses within 100 yards oblivious to any changes. However, the obliviousness will wear off over time, subjects who are altered will become aware of the changes quicker."
This intrigued Jim who decided to give it a try. He blew up the balloon until it was full before saying, "Control awareness of changes," and releasing the air. A gentle wind blew through the food court. Some people briefly looked up before going back to whatever they had been doing before. Now the whole food court wouldn't notice if Jim decided to make some alterations. But which group of girls should he approach?
