Thomas and Cody were running through streets to the High School. Thomas had thought it wasn't a long distance but he realized that was because his father used to drive him there. Although that, he felt a lot of energy emanating from his new body. He knew that body could resist a full marathon if he wanted, but Cody was just a kid and he wasn't too strong to endure running. He needed to act quickly before anything worse happens so he offered Cody to carry him over his shoulders.
Cody had begun to pant so he agreed Thomas' offer. In an instant, Thomas was running through the streets with Cody above his shoulders. Cody was tiny as a 6 years old kid, so it was too easy for Thomas to run like that. Following them was George who also had a lot of energy from his new dog abilities. Indeed, he was even faster than his young brother, but he didn't want to let him behind because he knew they needed to be together at this moment.
After some minutes running, Cody was able to see the high school in the distance. He and Thomas gladly smiled and George left a brisk bark. They needed to cross a street and they would find a safe place to be until things get back to normal. Thomas left Cody on the pavement so they could walk to the building, but when Thomas made his first step on the street in front of the high school a sudden and strong trembling made him stop.
On the Midtown, Loki had made a tower where he could stay and see the show that was happening on the town. It was very tall and fancy, with big Windows at each corner to let him see everything. He put a golden throne in the middle and a big golden cage next to him where he had his new gorilla pet. He was laughing whitout control as he saw men from any change turning into a lot variety of animals. The screams, panic and chaos were too funny to him, but after some time it became boring and repetitive.
"I need a new entertainment or I'll die of boredom." He said as he watched a thin young man turning into an elephant down his tower. "Any suggestions, Momo?"
Obviously the gorilla, who used to be a man, wasn't able to answer him and Loki just stayed on his throne watching how the young man lost his last signs of humanity. When he finished his transformation into an elephant the frightening that he had made him to run without control through the streets. His strong stomps made the ground to tremble. This movements increased the panic between the other animals who started an stampede behind the elephant. They were going directly to the high school.
"Oh, that could be interesting. Don't you think so, Momo?" Loki said. "Let's see what will happen now."
