"Morning sleepy head!"
Zack wakes groggily to the sound of his girlfriend's voice. Then it all comes flooding back to him and his eyes snap open. He's on the couch in his living room. Zelda is in the kitchen cooking. She walks in with a tray of food for him. "Breakfast in bed for my man? I didn't even use any powers to make it. This food is made with nothing but love...and lots of delicious fat and grease."
"Zelda...why?" He asks, sitting up.
"I told you why. It's what you want deep down"
"Zelda, just, leave me alone, please."
Zelda sits down on the couch beside him.
"Ok, look, if you really want me to leave then I will. I'll walk right out that door, and promise never to use powers on you again. But there's two things you should know first. One, when you made that wish for a girlfriend, did you ever stop to think of where she'd come from? Did you plan to just play God and create someone out of thin air? Well I'll tell you a secret, even God can't do that. I was talking to him about it when you were asleep in fact. He's never created a soul. They're the one thing that's always been there even before him, and the one thing he couldn't destroy either. Though before his made the universe they were rather different and didn't think or feel in ways that could be described in a language of this world. Anyway, back to where I came from. We're soul mates Zack. Through a thousand reincarnations we've loved each other, or at least we tried to because sometimes life gets in the way. This time some sort of accident occurred and I didn't incarnate when you did. I was hanging out in the spirit realm trying to figure out what to do when your wish pulled me here. You don't remember me yet in this life, but I remember you and I remember lifetimes worth of reasons to love you with all that I am. I know that might scare you a bit which is why I'm prepared for you to tell me to go, but that'd be ok, and it'd be ok even if we don't get together in this lifetime, because to me one lifetime is a brief thing. My love can wait forever for you. Take a minute to absorb that if you like."
Zack had trouble finding words. "But, yesterday, that wasn't right doing that to me Zelda! Does my soul mate treat me that way?". "She does if she knows you'd love it. You know you're not really outraged. You're a bit upset, but that's just fear because you're used to a world that shames people for the kind of desires you have, and particularly shames males for submissiveness. Internally Zelda snickers thinking "oh but soon they will be.". "Well Fuck em." She says aloud. "I mean I won't say what we do is 100% pure, but what in life ever is? It's an experiment and it may have some bumps but we learn and grow from it I think."
Zack sighs, "Alright, so what's the second reason why I shouldn't kick you to the curb?"
"Because babe, it IS possible for you to take control you know. I've always wanted to see what you were like once you awakened the dominating urge. Zack swallowed nervously. This was too much. She was too much. but he wanted the powers back. He'd gotten a taste of omnipotence and going back to his shitty life after that was unthinkable. He had to do it. Poor Zack was a virgin so he didn't know a damn thing about dominating a woman but he gave his best performance.
"Fine then woman. Challenge accepted." He leaned in to steal a kiss from the higher dominant position, but with a flash they were suddenly in the jungle. She was dressed as a tribal amazon complete with war paint. "Then let the battle begin!" She shouted.
