Suddenly, a loud clanging noise echoes down the tiled hallway, incredibly loud with your new hearing abilities. You whip your head behind you for one second and see a burly guard come crashing out of a door, holding a tranquilizer gun. "HEY!" he yells. You turn your head back around, just as you feel a dart zip past the tip of your tail. Whimpering, you look towards the end hallway you're running down and realize, with mounting horror, that a huge plate glass window sits at the end of the hallway. One thing your new wolf body is not accustomed to is slowing down quickly. You plant your huge forepaws down but end up slipping and sliding on the slick tiles, falling onto your side. You barrel roll towards the window, narrowly avoiding another scientist that dives to catch you. Yelping, you hit the window and crash right through it, sending shards of glass falling towards the ground below as you fall. Whimpering, you close your eyes and prepare for the splat...
With a yelping noise, you land on something soft, roll off it, and land on the ground. Groggy, you get up on your legs and look high above you. The broken window you fell through sits five stories above you, missing it's plate. You look and see you've landed in an six- story open common-area full of tables, chairs and couches where the employees of this facility relax and eat lunch. You've landed on a couch and rolled onto the floor. Tons of other windows to other hallways on other floors line the walls. Suddenly, the burly guard appears in the broken window and sees you five stories below him. "DAMMIT!" he yells, and disappears, obviously heading toward the stairs. You need to get out of here fast!
Instantly, you run towards the nearest thing you see: some stairs leading downward. You run across the deserted common area and down the stairs, turn on the landing, and run down three other flights until you're running down a long hallway towards some doors. Launching yourself through the air, you hit the push handle hard enough to open it. You slip through it just as it thumps closed behind you.
You're in a gray concrete parking garage. The open spaces between the supports let in a cold breeze. Your fur bristles and stands on end to warm you up. You're panting from all the running, so you paw over to an open parking spot between two cars, jump up, rest your forepaws on the ledge, and look down to see the huge parking lot of the building surrounded by a heavily wooded area. A road winds itself from the bottom of the parking garage , through some trees, around a bend, and out of sight. You're about six stories off the ground. The sky is slate gray and a light drizzle is falling, but the black clouds over to the west tell you a thunderstorm is coming.
Getting off the ledge, you realize you're tired. You paw over to a car, and find it's backseat door ajar. You launch your huge body through the door, onto the seat, and slam the door somehow with your huge front paw. You curl up on the backseat, tail wrapping around your legs, and get some much deserved rest.
