While Kyle, Samantha, and Rebecca had been getting froggy and frisky the other three girls had been getting bored. The last thing Sam told Crystal, Cassie, and Jen was "I have a big surprise for you three. Wait here a few minutes."
It had been much longer than "a few minutes." The three girls sat around chatting in the living room, occasionally hearing odd noises.
"Should we go check on them?" Crystal had asked. More than once. Each time she felt more worried.
"They'll get us when they're ready" would be Cassie's reply. Cassie was a bit shy and had been surprised by the invitation to the party; although she was friends with Crystal and Jen, Cassie figured she was beneath the notice of a popular girl like Samantha. (She'd never met Rebecca before.)
While Crystal was concerned and Cassie was meek, Jen was just annoyed. Growing bored, she went searching in the kitchen for entertainment and found a bottle of wine which she began helping herself to it. Jen's motto was "sober parties are boring parties."
Finally Crystal had enough when she heard a dull thump from down the hall. (She didn't know it was caused by Sam jumping off her bed onto the floor.) She stood up.
"I'm going to see what the hell they've been doing down there" she declared.
"Probably a threesome" slurred Jen. "Don't know why they invited us to the house if they weren't going to include us in the fun."
"Come on you two" said Crystal. She started down the hall, Cassie meekly following while Jen shuffled along with the bottle of wine still in hand.
The three frog people were deciding what to do next when someone pounded on the door. "What's going on in there?" Crystal asked through the door.
Kyle, Samantha, and Rebecca exchanged glances. The unspoken question was obvious: how to respond?
