Despite yesterday’s drama; Eric Anderson was having quite a relaxing day. Many students that were were’s congratulated him on taking the plunge in becoming one himself. A few of Frieda’s friends approached him trying to illicit details. While Eric knew they would also pester her and Spencer as well; he wasn’t the type to share such matters. He even refused to divulge to his older brother, Nate last night before diner. Eric quickly felt bad how he acted when the Twist's where there; he quickly jotted down a reminder for himself to apologize to them sometime after school.
It was during lunch period with Frieda knight that he was approached by the school’s guidance counselor. While Eric didn’t need to ‘talk’ about yesterday to someone else; he was appreciative of having a standing invite if such a need arises. Eric notice Brian Walker strutting around the lunchroom; pleased as a peacock and sporting a visible tent in his pants. A bulge Brian had no shame in hiding.
“Guess things worked out for him as well,” All the while he shoveled a forkful of corn nibblets into his mouth.
“Did you say something?” Frieda remarks while absently texting on her phone.
“I was referring to Brian over there, Frieda;” Eric comments.
Frieda looks up to see the were-otter sitting with his friends. While they were too far away to overhear his conversation despite being weres; it was clear he was no worse for wear. She makes an uninteresting grunt and goes back to her phone.
After lunch classes were just as uneventful as the morning. More classmates congratulating him; a few girls, who were not currently seeing anyone, approached him asking if he was free for this evening or that. While by now everyone knew Eric, Spenser and Frieda were clearly and item; it still didn’t stop a few teen weres with hyperactive libidos from wanting to spend time with him. Several classmates who overheard these offers for dates, started to call Eric “Casanova”. While it wasn’t the worst nickname he ever had inflicted on him; it wasn’t one he was keen on living up to. As such all requests of female companionship where politely turned down.
Eric’s last class of the day; today it was a class that we would normally share with Julie Stovall. While he dreaded having a class with her after he dumped her for her cheating ways. Eric was the opposite. With Julie suspended from school pending the outcome of her assault on both himself and Frieda; he was calm and feeling upbeat. Several classmates once again congratulated him for becoming a were. While he did enjoy the ego boost it gave him every time he heard a ‘congratulation’ or ‘good on you’; Eric was glad that he wouldn’t need to listen to anymore afterwards. Like the rest of the day; class went by quick.
As the last bell of the day rang, Eric was nearly the first out the door. He was eager to catch up with Spencer and become the Yin to her Yang.
