Neil returns and you swear you saw him throw a smirk at you. "What now?" You silently ask yourself.
Neil heads to the study without hesitation and begins to rub Joe's back, "Hey Daddy? I really like this punishment for Teddy. He was being so unruly and disrespectful. He's so obedient now and doesn't talk back!"
Joe smiled relaxing into the back massage, "I know, hes so spoiled, I just hope this will put some sense into him."
"Me too, but I am worried that a couple days and a few trips to town wont be enough for him to see what its like being the one always being used in the relationship." Neil was feeling frustrated and was channeling that into the knots in Joe's back.
Joe let out a moan as his muscles were forced to relax. "Mmm, do you think maybe we should keep him a car longer?"
"Maybe..." Neil hesitated wanting his plan to come out as though he just thought of it. "but leaving him in the garage most of the time is really like grounding him in his room... he's not being used, he's not learning his lesson." Neil paused again waiting for Joe to see his point.
A moment later Joe sighed, Neil knew it was time to move forward with his plan.
*Dramatic Gasp* "Daddy! I have an idea! What if we took a road trip this weekend?" Then, more seductively, "What if we had an extended weekend? I have been grabbing places to check out from Pintrest that I thought we could do together someday.... and someday could be tomorrow!" Neil swung around sitting on Joe's lap, giving Joe the look that he couldn't refuse.
"I suppose I am overdue for a vacation. And, though I'm busy, much of my workload is back burner stuff that could be temporarily reassigned."
Neil squealed. "Ill start organizing the addresses and planning a route and activities, then we can decide what needs packing."
Jeff was wondering what happened to their lunch date. Being conscious, and for all intents and purposes, paralyzed was beginning to drive Jeff mad. He could only tell rough time of day by animal noises and temperature changes.
Obviously, Joe and Neil had lunch in because they had to clear out the fridge before the trip... nobody likes coming home to a rotten fridge.
By first light next morning, they were packed and ready to go with an expansive list of places to go and things to do/see. Joe brought the Chronivac because a sports car is great for traveling, a camper is great for sleeping, a boat is great for water, an ATV is great for sand dunes, a truck is great for hauling back souvenirs...
