Marty tried to speak but all he could do was croak. A deep, scared croak which Rachel responded with a disgust expression on her face.
“Help me! Help me!” he wanted to say.
“What happened?”
Marty didn’t know what to do. In panic he turned around and saw his salvation: the open window. Before thinking twice, still hearing the cries of his girlfriend he took a breath of bravery and jumped out of the window. He had a glimpse of the pool deck, the people still having a sunbathing before the last sunshine disappeared; kids splashing in the pool; girls chatting on their phones; guys drinking a cold one near the water.
What he didn’t remember was how he was 10 meters from the ground. Marty couldn’t land properly. He fall on his back, he felt his spine breaking. There was no pain, he felt the hot blood inside his body waving trough him and everything turned dark.
He died.
