The town you lived in was nothing special. West of the town was a large forest mainly used for hiking and camping and the town had a decently large population.
You walked outside in the morning light, the sun still low in the sky. With the Book of Myths secured in your satchel you begin walking wondering what you should do with your powers.
No one was around, and you were in summer vacation so you didn't have to worry about school. Maybe you could go visit one of your friends or you could try transforming again in the local forest.
You figure that you just gained your powers and that you should test them out before showing them off to anyone. You've seen movies before and you know that the Book Of Myths was the type of thing people would kill for.
Suddenly you thought of the dream you had this morning. Other books were out there somewhere in the world. Someone else might of found one of them as well, maybe even using it to wreck havoc though there wasn't anything you could really do about that.
You definitely wouldn't mind getting another of the magical books, though it might take years before you even find another, much less all of them.
You shake your head and decide to worry about the book you have right now. The other books could come later.
After an hour of walking you make your way to the forest, the sun brighter than before. Your parents still wouldn't be up so you didn't have to worry about that.
The forest smelled of oak tress and grass and you could hear a couple of birds deep inside the trees. Book in hand you make your way inside the forest. Leaves and twigs crushed beneath your feet as you make your way deeper into the forest. You've been in this forest before and knew it as well as the back of your hand. You walked in a direction you knew would lead you to a small river that cut through the forest.
