The next morning, after making breakfast for her family and everyone went to school or work, Jenny went to her job. That day she wore a worn blouse that was missing it's left sleeve and the right was ripped up, the shirt was tucked into a ratty skirt that stopped 8 inches above her knees due to being ripped.
She got to Kelson mansion and dressed in her maids uniform and began to scrub one of the many bathroom's floors, all the while thinking about what that stranger who beat up those human thugs the other day and what he said "are we really superior to humans? obviously physically superior but if so then why, why--" Jenny pushed that thought away when another maid called her over to the kitchen.
"There you are you lazy lizard, wash these dishes and put them in storage. After your done with that grab the finer China ones and set them up on the dining hall's table, and be quick about it!" The human maid barked "Yes Miss, right away" Jenny said submissively and quietly began to wash the dishes.
After storing all the dishes and setting up the new ones in the dining hall, she went to clean Amanda's room. "Jenny, what are you doing here?" Amanda said, just arriving from school "Oh I'm sorry Mistress Amanda I was told to clean your room, I'll leave if you wish" Jenny said with her head down in a servile manner. "It's okay Jenny, I'll just work on my homework" the little girl replied "As you wish Mistress Amanda"
"Why do you always call me that, Jenny?" Amanda asked curiously.
"Because I'm a maid, I work under your father and your family, Mistress" the 18 year old lizard replies respectfully. "I hate homework, do you have homework too?" Amanda asks "um...well n-no I stopped going to school when I was 15, I had to help out my family so I had to leave...that was about three years ago......uh All done! Is there anything else I can do for you you?" (Jenny went to school up to her soft more year of high school).
"No I guess...I'll see you later" Amanda repied "Of course Mistress Amanda" Jenny said and proceeded downstairs.
