Using your beak you take out the Book of Myths and your newly acquired Book of Arcane and place them side by side comparing them, when a flash of blinding light erupts. It only lasted for a couple of seconds before it stopped as quickly as it lasted. The two books were gone.... Replaced a completely new book.

You inspect it and find that the book had all the spells from both the Book of Myth and the Book of Arcane. The two books had fused! Not only that you saw that there were several new spells as well! You quickly skimmed through the new book and found two spells that caught your eyes.
Elemental Shift: This spell functions as any other of the shift spells except you can choose your target or yourself to also be made of a elemental energy. For example if you shifted into a dragon with the Water element, your body will be made of water completely. The targets body will still be fully functional but be made of a particular element. The possible Elements that can be chosen are: Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Arcane. Each Element has its own strength and weaknesses. To use this spell say the command word "Element Shift". This spell uses a large amount of energy.
Astral Blood: This powerful spell covers you or your target in a layer of astral energy making your body seemingly made of stars and space. In this form you can teleport at will, shoot blasts of astral energy, and create mini blackholes. You can activate this spell even when in a shifted form. To use this spell simply say "Astral Blood." This spell uses a incredible amount of energy.
These were clearly advanced spells but you couldn't help but consider them. Somehow in your Phoenix form you could tell it was a couple hours before morning. You were about to shift back into your human form when....
